Manganoan Calcite, also known as Mangano-Calcite, seems to have been created by the most amazing earth energies, to encourage the opening of even the hardest of hearts, softening seemingly impenetrable walls and to raise the vibration of the heart chakra.
Pretty in pinks, with ranges of colour depth, and various formations, this Reiki stone is used in healing to help lift emotional pain, dissolve lingering hurts, and ease anxiety. The stones glow under UV light, indicative of the manganese inclusions in the form of bivalent manganese carbonite.
It is a wonderful comfort stone, with its perfectly subtle pinks and hues, and blanket like shapes, making one feel safe and comforted – with an endless resource of divine love channeled through the gentle bumps and soft curves.

You can clean your stone in water, with a soft brush if needed and allow to air dry. Avoid using harsh cleaning chemicals or leaving it in water baths for long periods of time. Spring water, or running tap water is ideal.
Manganoan Calcite has a hardness of “3” on the Mohs hardness scale.
